Preparation
Prior to using your wood product for the first time, hand wash with warm water then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Washing
Clean wood products immediately after every use and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Wood products should be washed by hand using warm water and a soft cloth. Never scrub the product with hard bristles or steel wool as this may cause permanent scratches.
Other Care Notes
- Keep away from heat, direct sunlight. Heating on the stove, in the microwave, under a heat lamp or in the oven can cause permanent damage to the product.
- Keep away from cold temperatures. Do not place wood products in the freezer.
- Never allow the wood to soak in water; this will cause the wood to separate.
- Do not expose the wood to dishwashers or acidic detergents.
- To keep the wood looking new you can periodically use a soft cloth and wipe the product down with mineral oil.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Avoid stacking while wet or damp and avoid storing in a wet environment.
